We don't enter competitions to brag about the award, rather, we enter design competitions to make sure our work is the best it can be by competing with the best in the world. There's no better test of a website design project than The Webbys, an international competition dating back to 1996. The Webby's are presented by the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) who are internet experts, visionaries, and associate members.
To say I'm humbled to be a part of this selection is an understatement. The award, which was ultimately given to Apple's Arcade Takeover homepage, goes to show that good design principles outweigh big names, big budgets, and large teams at work. As a design studio, it's always nice to be named alongside Apple, Google, Landor, and more increidle agencies.
