Studio Ostendo is thrilled to present a case study highlighting our collaboration with Fortify Optimal Health, an innovative health and wellness company dedicated to empowering individuals to optimize their mental health. Our task was to develop a compelling brand identity and create a dynamic website that embodies Fortify's core values while resonating with their target audience – first responders and those who deal with high-stress environments. With a focus on the mind, body, and community, our design solution reflects the company's commitment to optimizing health and fostering a sense of unity within this critical demographic.
To capture Fortify Optimal Health's values, Studio Ostendo crafted a distinctive and memorable brand identity. Inspired by the concept of three pillars—mind, body, and community—we created a logo in the shape of a crest, symbolizing strength and unity. The logo interior is based on a triskele, a timeless symbol of balance and interconnectedness. We integrated three stylized "F"s within the crest, representing the three pillars of Fortify's mission. These three elements come together to create a logo that is strong, memorable, and meaningful.
Given the target demographic of first responders, we devised a color palette that draws inspiration from their uniforms, instilling a sense of familiarity and trust. The primary color is a deep navy blue, signifying reliability and dependability. Paired with this is a sandstone and neutral tan, symbolizing resilience and steadfastness. These colors work harmoniously together to create a visually engaging and impactful brand presence.
For the typography, we opted for a balanced combination of a modern sans-serif typeface, Golos Text, and a classic serif typeface, Crimson Text. The sans-serif font communicates a contemporary feel and conveys the company's progressive approach to optimal mental health. The serif typeface adds a touch of sophistication and credibility, aligning with Fortify's commitment to scientific excellence.
Studio Ostendo crafted a custom website for Fortify Optimal Health that seamlessly integrates the brand identity and delivers a user-friendly experience. The website features a clean and intuitive interface, allowing visitors to explore Fortify's services, educational resources, and community initiatives effortlessly. Engaging imagery, captivating stories, and user testimonials are strategically placed throughout the site to inspire and motivate users on their health journey. The responsive design ensures a seamless experience across desktop, tablet, and mobile devices, enabling users to engage with Fortify Optimal Health anytime, anywhere.
